Nigel KerrNigel has been bought on board to expand the sales team and help them meet Volkswagen Group Leasing’s ambitious growth plans to become the UK’s leading vehicle leasing and finance business. He will be particularly focusing on developing the businesses’ 100+ fleet market and will also be helping to lead Volkswagen Group Leasing’s expansion into the international market.

Reporting into Martin Ballard, the Corporate Solutions Director, he will be working closely with the front line sales people across the UK’s regions and within Volkswagen Group Leasing’s horizontal and vertical markets, including commercial vehicles and public sector.

He was also responsible for setting up Lombard Vehicle Management’s SME team and making it one of the most profitable departments across the company. In addition he was appointed as the Lombard Vehicle Management representative on the local Corporate Bank Partnership Board.  During his career, Nigel also held management roles at Alphabet (GB) Ltd, part of the BMW Financial Services Group.

“Volkswagen Group Leasing has been making some significant waves in the industry and I wanted to be part of its growing success. I know that with my experience I can truly add value to the sales team. Having only been in the business a few days I can already see how enthusiastic and professional all the sales people are and that it won’t be hard to maximise the teams potential and grow the business.  What’s more we are backed by some fantastic vehicle brands and by the very reputable Volkswagen Group. I am really looking forward to continuing my successful career within the company.”
