Experienced sheet metal manufacturer, Colmet, has moved to new premises in Milton Keynes as part of its on-going expansion.
The company has relocated to the town’s Torc:MK industrial estate from the site it occupied in Aylesbury for more than 25 years.
The move has seen the entire team transfer to a newly refurbished site in order to accommodate a fully automated fibre optic laser cutting facility. It comes on the back of the business recently launching a new brand and improved website to provide the ultimate user-friendly experience.
Colin Ball, Managing Director of Colmet, said: “Milton Keynes is business friendly, has excellent transport links and is central to our existing clients and suppliers. It is also home to an ever growing number of international companies and we’re very excited to be part of this ambitious town’s future.
“We’ve been supplying cutting-edge industries for more than 30 years and our relocation, coupled with our recent investment in the latest state-of-the-art Amada FLC AJ laser, confirms our ambition for growth. We believe that significant opportunities exist and we’re currently taking on some of our biggest challenges yet.
“We’re confident this move will enhance our position at the forefront of sheet metal manufacturing and enable us to further build upon our successes to date.”
