The Milton Keynes based cherry picker manufacturer has been ranked for its export growth in the International Track 200 for 2019.
The Sunday Times International Track 200 ranks Britain’s mid-market private companies with the fastest-growing international sales, measured over their latest two years of available accounts. Marking its 10th anniversary this year, the league table has featured more than 1,000 companies since its launch, including star alumni such as Fever-Tree, IHS Markit and Aston Martin.
This year’s league table was announced this week and Milton Keynes based manufacturer and local employer, Niftylift, has reached its highest rank to date with an impressive 51st position. This is particularly impressive as Niftylift has achieved this growth from an already high ‘base year’, as its export sales have been running at high levels for several years now.
Niftylift , with its headquarters in Shenley Wood, exports its products around the world. It employs nearly 400 people at its Milton Keynes sites and plays an active role locally, inviting members of the community and schools to various open days and events throughout the year. It’s also a patron member of the MK Community Foundation and sponsors initiatives such as the Brunel Urban Scholars scheme and the Milton Keynes Museum, to name a few.
Niftylift’s export success is driven by its ability to design and develop innovative, world-leading products and this is rooted in the talent and enthusiasm of its staff. Niftylift has long realised the importance of nurturing local talent and to this end has been running a successful apprenticeship scheme for more than 2 decades.
Roger Bowden, Niftylift’s Chairman and founder commented recently: “I am proud to announce that Apprentice recruitment at Niftylift has hit a new high, with over 50 apprentices currently training across the company. Once qualified, they will be ideally equipped to take-on the job opportunities created by the company’s expansion, as we continue to grow.”
Niftylift is currently looking for talented, motivated and enthusiastic people to help lift it to new heights in 2019. It will be exhibiting at the MK Job Show on the 29th & 30th of March and has a range of full-time opportunities available in both its office departments and factory.
