Businesses with 5 to 250 employees in Milton Keynes are being offered a new grant of up to £1,000 to assist them in reducing the cost of business travel.
These are match-funded grants available from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and accessible through Business Link. Milton Keynes Council is working as a partner on the programme and will be conducting free staff travel surveys for all applicants. The ‘Sustainable Routes’ project aims to focus businesses on improved travel choices and provide a plan and guidance on how to implement smarter travel options.
Grants will be awarded towards the cost of implementing an initiative such as consultancy on remote working infrastructures, developing flexible working policies, video conferencing equipment and fuel conversion.
More details are available from the Business Link Customer Service Team on 0845 600 9006 or email firstname.lastname@example.org, putting “Sustainable Routes” in the subject box and providing name, company, postcode and telephone number(s) in the text box.
